“The black flames of their nightmares haunt enemies for years after the war has ended.”
It is said that the night before a war with the Moon Elves, often the enemy’s commanders suffer horrid nightmares. Images of Warlocks producing flames of eternal darkness.

Aura of Nightmares
Starting at 1st level, Whenever you are within 30 ft of a sleeping humanoid, you become aware of their presence. As long as the target is within 20 ft you can force the sleeping creatures to have dreadful visions. The creature gains no benefit from its rest, and it’s hit point maximum is reduced by your Warlock level. If this effect reduces the creatures hit points to 0 the target dies. The reduction to the target’s hit point maximum lasts until the afflicted creature finishes a long rest while not being within 20 ft of you. This ability stacks during each long rest this creature makes while within 20 ft of you.
During the nightmares, the afflicted might get glimpses that hint at the warlock, however, the face is never a clear image.
At 6th level, add the spell Find Steed to your spell list. You may cast this spell as a ritual. In addition, you may call a Nightmare to you as a possible steed: Nightmare (MM 194).
Gaze of Ruin
At 10th Level, your eyes show your enemies their darkest fears. As a bonus action, you can lock eyes with a creature, that creature must succeed on a Will save (DC 8+ Your proficiency Bonus+ your Cha modifier) or be frightened for 1d4 rounds, the creature can attempt to make a new saving throw at the beginning of each of their turns. On a successful save, that creature cannot be affected again by the same Warlock’s gaze for 24 hours. This is a mind-affecting fear effect. The save DC is Charisma-based. You must take a long rest before using this ability more than a number of times per day equal to your charisma modifier.
Pillory of Comas
As a 14th level Warlock, you can cause even the greatest of adversaries to sleep. You may cast the sleep spell, but don’t roll any dice, instead, a target creature must make a Wisdom Saving Throw equal to your Warlock Spell DC.
