Starting at 3rd level, you can weave a barrier around yourself in the heat of battle. When you channel a spell through your weapon, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half the spell slot sacrificed rounded up. This bonus last until the beginning of your next turn.
Starting at 7th level, you depend on your abjuration spells to protect you. Double the duration of abjuration spells you cast.
Armored Caster (Heavy)
At 11th level, You gain proficiency in Heavy Armor and armor does not not impose any disadvantages to your rolls.
Starting at 15th level, you gain the ability to burn arcane energy to empower your martial abilities. As a bonus action, you can sacrifice a spell slot to do one of the following until the beginning of your next turn…
- You gain a bonus to your damage roll equal to double the spell slot level that was sacrificed.
- You gain a bonus to your next saving throw equal to the spell slot level that was sacrificed or until the end of your next turn. Which ever comes first.
- you gain resistance to either Acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage for 1d4 rounds.
