Playable Race: Crag Dwarves


They live far underground as deep dragons do, but they have isolated themselves even further at the behest of Caecus, The God of the Mind. Caecus’s influence through the dwarves has changed the physiology of these once deep dwarves. Their skin tone is pale gray with a purple hue, and their eyes are usually steel gray. Their hair color ranges from purplish black to white, and they favor elaborate mustaches with moderate beards. Their dress is functional and blends in with their normal environment within the Under-cities of Crythia. The largest under-cities are Wallscar Vale, Gemforge Port, and the Capital, Blackhelm City.

As a race, Crag Dwarves have a deep joy when working with gems and crystal. They value items made with gems more so than their “Disconnected” cousin’s the Mystic Dwarves. This is apparent in their architecture and their mines.

Ability Score Adjustment: +2 Con, +1 Int

Size: Medium

Speed: 25 feet. Your speed is not reduced by wearing heavy armor with which you have proficiency or for carrying a heavy load.

Darkvision: You can see in darkness within 60 feet of you as if it were dim light. When you do so, your vision is in black and white.

Dwarven Resilience: You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.

Dwarven Weapon Training: You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, throwing hammer, and warhammer.

Stonecunning: Whenever you make an Intelligence (history) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.

Crag Resilience: You have advantage on saving throws against Mystic talents, and you have resistance against force damage.

Psion Blood: You know one talent from the Mystic Class. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Dwarvish
